- FAS-TRAC III SUSPENSION: Our top-end Fas-Trac III suspension is designed with feedback from hundreds of customers and serves as an improved ratchet suspension. Flush rear lug attachments eliminate pressure points and three levels of nape strap adjustment provide a customized fit. The contoured ratchet comfort pad improves airflow and prevents hair-pulling. With improved comfort and a graspable ratchet with smooth rotation and steadfast hold, your whole workforce will continue to wear their safety helmets.
- HIGH QUALITY PROTECTION: Suitable for general purpose use or in high temperature environments. These Skullgard helmets have been tested to radiant heat loads producing temperatures up to, but not exceeding 350°F. A smooth crown allows for easy use of all MSA welding equipment.
- MEETS PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS: Skullgard Caps meet all requirements for a Type I (top impact) helmet outlined in ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (Class G). These Skullgard caps are also fully third-party tested and certified by SEI. They meet the voluntary standard for reverse donning, low temperature [LT], higher temperature [HT], and Hi-Viz [HV]. Date codes are molded into the underside of the shell’s brim, indicating the year and month of manufacture. **This date does not indicate a helmet’s service life; the service life begins when it is placed into service.** – See attached FAQ sheet.
